Principal’s Welcome
It is my privilege as Principal of Ocean View College to welcome you to our website. I hope this is a positive first step in learning about our school and the huge range of learning opportunities offered across the college.
Ocean View College B-12 is a coeducational, comprehensive state government site comprised of a Children’s Centre, R – 12 School and an “off-site” further education facility, Harbor View Campus, located in the heart of Port Adelaide.
School life for our community is underpinned by our values, Respect, Responsibility and Resilience and these are reinforced through our sub-schools in conversations with students and formally during pastoral care lessons, events and assemblies.
Our commitment is to provide parents, children and young people with a college community where every child and young person can have a valued role and achieve success, through engaging in creative and supportive learning experiences. Our children and young people are actively supported by quality teaching that provides a positive learning environment.
As a college we support our children and young people to: Be active, inquisitive lifelong learners, get along with others through building positive relationships and be informed global citizens. I warmly welcome your interest in our school and please feel free to make an appointment to visit. We hold Principal Tours every second Wednesday morning at 9:30am, but can accommodate other times.
