Middle School Belonging Day

Year 7 – 9 students recently attended the Belonging Day at Woodhouse Activity Centre. Student got to spend time as a cohort, participating in a range of fun and challenging activities while building relationships with other students and their mentor teachers.

Acquaintance Night

The college recently hosted its annual Acquaintance Night where parents and carergivers had the opportunity to meet their child’s teachers, view the classrooms and sub school areas and chat about learning across the school. This was also a great opportunity for parents to meet the leadership team in an informal gathering and get a sneak preview of the soon to be opened new spaces.

New Build UPDATE

Over the Christmas break a majority of the new build was completed and final touches are being finalised. We are planning to start scheduling classes into the new classrooms and Art classes during week 5.

Construction on the new drama and music building will commence shortly as we look forward to completing all of our new facilities during 2021.

60th Anniversary Celebration IS ON AGAIN!

As you know, we unfortunately had to postpone our 60th Anniversary Celebration last year but are happy to announce that the new date is Friday 19th March 2021. We invite all old scholars/staff to join us in celebrating our proud community history. Due to COVID restrictions the event capacity is 250 and therefore we will require people to RSVP and be issued with a ticket, so we can manage numbers for the event. NAPLAN – Collection of personal information

Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) takes place each year for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. Schools are required by law to collect personal information about you and your child, irrespective of whether your child participates in NAPLAN testing. The purpose of this notice is to advise parents and carers of how your child’s personal information will be used for NAPLAN testing (both online and paper tests) in 2021 and, as part of NAPLAN Online, readiness activities scheduled at various times leading up to the test in May 2021 and May 2022.
