8 Drama (1 term)

    

 

During this Term of Drama students’ skills and techniques are further developed. Exploring improvisation, theatre games, characterisation and vocalisation students are offered the opportunity to create, devise and present performance pieces to their peers.

Tasks include exploring the commercial world of marketing where students create a ‘new’ product and develop a viable commercial advertisement for their wares. Students also look at basic script structure to focus on character development while engaging in a reflective process through an Actor’s Journal, recording and evaluating performances and personal progress.
